I am overdrawn by about $100. My Child Support gets direct deposited, so it will pay off the owed balance. But it is going to be another week until that happens. In the meantime I am about to get my first unemployment check in the mail. Can I cash this check at the bank with out them taking the money for the account? Dont say ask your parents or collect unemployment neither of those options will help. I had a direct deposit going into the account on the same day from my job. i was told by a rep that my pay check would still go into the account even after it was closed an that they would mail me a cashiers check for whatever funds that i had left into the account.when i asked how long it would take for me to receive the check he only replied that it would not take long. does anyone know how long i would have to wait for a check.
