For example, would you rather get an email offering you a product, or an offer from the US Postal Service? It seems today there are so many more options on the internet to shop, it might be wiser to go ahead and open the email ad-types, as long as they DO NOT have attachments…all of us know to watch out for strange emails with attachments…they could have viruses. I am trying out my own internet business and could use feedback regarding newsletters, for instance about my site called: Special Home Products.
Do me a big favor in the meantime, and check it out…any suggestions or comments on it would be appreciated!
OK, like the responses I am getting, but still unsure which would be the best to use to promote a new business….let me hear from some more of you out there!

Writing articles is an effective way to express yourself, whether for website promotion, your blog, or to become a professional writer.

Remember that “Content is King”. The better way you organize your ideas, the more publicity you get. Two basic points to be kept in mind while writing an article are:-

(1) Use the simplest possible language Your writing should be able to reach maximum number of readers. This means that it must be written in the simplest language which can be understood by the widest range of people. Most frequently the writers of magazines and newspapers use the “fourth grade level”.

In other words, they’re using language that could be understood by a fourth grade reader.

This doesn’t mean they’re not capable of writing in more advanced language, they just don’t want to limit their readership. Obviously there are cases where you’ll need to write to a higher level reader, such as technical articles and social or political commentary. But only write to higher level readers when necessary.

(2) Represent your ideas in an interesting manner Your ideas should be represented in such a way that they are useful to the audience. The better you frame your ideas, more readers will be attracted towards your article. Organize your ideas in such a manner that it entertains the readers. Make sure that don’t write whole descriptive stuff so that the readers feel bored. Most of the articles written for the internet or for magazines are in classic style known as “five paragraph essay”, which is an ideal format for writing articles in brief. If this style is followed then you can express your ideas in a very beautiful way with the good and interesting start and end.

How To Write Using The Five Paragraph Essay Format

1) First paragraph: Introduction-to represent the actual topic and related concepts in brief.

2. Second, third and fourth paragraphs – Support and expand on the introduction, giving more information about the topic.

3. Fifth paragraph – Conclude and summarize the topic of the article, leaving the reader with the purpose of the article.

When you learn how to use the five paragraph essay format effectively, you’ll be able to write for magazines or the internet. Basically, you want to use the simplest language you can while organizing your ideas effectively. Do that and you’ll be a successful writer in no time!

When you decide to have an opt-in list, it is not just a matter of sending your subscribers your promotional materials or catalogs. There are so many factors to consider in avoiding many complications. While there are so many ways you can make people subscribe to your list, there are also some things you must do to avoid subscribers from wanting to get off from your email list.

It is crucial that you keep your list clean and manageable. Arrange it by using the many tools and technologies available for your opt-in list. Your investment in this marketing strategy is well worth it with all the coverage you will get which will likely be converted into sales then to profit. As a tip, here are top 3 deadly mistakes to avoid when emailing your list.

1) Not take notice of your unsuccessful sends. These are the e-mails that bounce. Bounced emails, also known as undeliverable emails, are those emails that, for whatever reason, were not successfully received by the intended subscriber.

There are bounces that happen or occur due to user unknown, closed mailboxes, services unavailable. There are those bounce messages that are simply undeliverable ever. Some other reasons for this can be an invalid email address, a misspelled email address, or an email address that was abandoned and erased already.

Manage your list by putting markings on those that bounce. Erase an email account from your opt-in list so that you have an accurate statistics and records as to how many are actually getting your mail.

2) Not provide an unsubscribe feature in your site and an unsubscribe link in your mails. When someone in your list sends a request to be unsubscribed, always take that request seriously. If you don’t take them off your list and keep sending them your e-mails, you are now spamming them.

When you are reported as a spammer, you and your business can get into a lot of trouble. You can be reported to the authorities and maybe blacklisted by many ISPs. You will lose a lot of subscribers this way and many more in potential subscribers.

3) Provide pornographic or shocking and disturbing content in your newsletters. It is sometimes hard to decipher the age of the recipient and you may get a lot of complaints. Stick to the nature of your site and business.

Always remember these tips so that you can have a healthy relationship with your subscribers as well as be kept within the boundaries of what is allowed in sending mails to an email list.
