I just got fired from a factory job recently after hurting myself and missing four days of work in a month. Needless to say, I really **** the place and was hoping to never have dealings with it again.

But I have a problem: In the month I was there, I signed up for direct deposit and *one* of my paychecks was direct deposited. The rest afterward were mailed to me. Last week, the company seems to have accidentally sent me another check in the same amount as the single one that had been direct deposited. I’m almost sure someone made a mistake.

Should I send the check back? Can the company rightfully come after me for their mistake?
P.S. After speaking with numerous employees who have been injured at the factory and employees’ recounting of union negotiations and other experiences, I’ve come to conclude the company is a bunch of sleazeballs and I personally would not feel one bit guilty or wrong about keeping the money.
Ha! I looked at it more closely and you’re right: It’s just a slip saying that it had been deposited. Well, that makes it much easier.

But I was still kind of hoping I could bilk the jerks.
