They asked for my Social security number., The question is how will i receive it, where will the money be (through the mail or direct deposit) and when? Thanks.
=] it was for educational purposes that took place at the university i go to and it was held by the actual psychology department there with my own professors, so yes, it is legit.
again thanks for the concern, but it was held by my own professors at the university i go to so its not a scam.

I also recently received a letter along with 75 other employees saying that our personal information such as name, social security, etc… was sent out to other people at work. I checked my credit and its still in good standards and I also started protecting it. This is the first paycheck that I should have gotten payed for since this happened. Also, I haven’t done direct deposit because I don’t like giving my bank account number out to anyone. I have some college money saved there and obviously I have good reasons not to give it out because I think that email contained our bank account info too.
